Our Medical couriers receive Awareness Training as required under the Hazardous Materials Regulations, meeting specifications set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT). They are trained on proper specimen handling procedures, temperature-controlled transport requirements and chain of custody documentation requirements as required by governmental regulations. Additional training include Infection Control and OSHA Standards as well as topics on confidentiality which includes Protected Healthcare Information (PHI). Each driver is background checked and is held to the highest standards of accountability and professionalism.
